Student Housing at Mount Sinai

The Jane B. Aron Residence Hall is conveniently located a block away from the Icahn School of Medicine and The Mount Sinai Hospital. If you enroll full-time to our medical or dual-degree programs, you will be guaranteed housing, along with its amenities, which include: access to health, fitness, and laundry rooms; dedicated study areas; free WiFi; 24-hour doormen; and more. Take a virtual tour of our student spaces.

Yeah, so one, Aron Hall is very affordable, which I think is a great selling point to be in Aron, but more than that, it's about being with students. I think that being at med school as hard regardless of where you go, but having that sense of community, seeing people studying in the lounge, seeing your friends like coming from a coffee break, I think really uplifts the spirit.

Living in Aron Hall for me has been really an important part of my experience. And I think speaking to like the community that is so strong here, I think it would have been really tough to go through medical school not having that built in community. And so it's something that I've been very grateful for.

Also being able, just convenience-wise, to be just across the street from the school, to be able to get here in like five minutes. You can do your laundry in that building. You can study in that building. You can work out in that building. You can have drinks with friends in that building.

It's just kind of a built in community, and I think med school can certainly be isolating. And so it's been very important for me.

And now the resources have also been increased with Med Ed moving over there, STMH moving over there as well. And so I think it's just like a central location for fun, studying, sleep. Everything you need to do.
